Deputy District Commissioner

My name is Emma Hall and I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself.

I am the Deputy District Commissioner (DDC) in the West London District. I am 26 and am married to Paul, who is a Cub Scout leader within the 48th Kensington Scout Group. We have two children (Liam and Alex), we live in Pimlico and I work at the local primary school.

I have been involved in Scouting for the past 13 years. I first joined as an assistant Cub Scout leader (ACSL) for the 1st City of Westminster. During my five years at that group I also organised and ran the Beaver section. I began to help out at the 48th Kensington, with all three sections, and took control of their Beaver colony when the leader at the time left. I held that post for the next four years. At this present time, I hold the position of ACSL within the 48th Kensington.

In September 2000 I took on the role of ADC for the Cub Scout section within Kensington, Chelsea and Westminster and also took on the role of organising the District events for the Beavers when their ADC left. I held this post until the closure of Kensington, Chelsea and Westminster District and the formation of West London District.

I hope to play a full and active part in the development of the new District and look forward to exciting and innovative times for us all.
